Air Conditioning
Stay Cool, Whatever the Weather
We all love to complain about the weather—too cold in winter, too hot in summer! But with a well-maintained air conditioning system, the temperature inside your car can always be just right.
Most modern vehicles come with climate control, designed to keep your cabin comfortable no matter the conditions outside. However, air con systems don’t look after themselves. They rely on a special refrigerant gas, which needs topping up over time—just like your radiator needs antifreeze.
To keep your AC running efficiently, we recommend checking refrigerant levels at least every two years. But a simple re-gas isn’t always enough—regular servicing ensures your system stays in top condition for longer.
How to maintain your air conditioning:
- Ensure it's fully charged
- Test it for abnormal leaks so you don't have to re-gas frequently
- Make sure it's working effectively and not causing your fuel efficiency to suffer
- Remove bacteria in the ducts and vents
